I Want to Carry Your Voice to D.C.Like many of you, I am a common family man. I believe in Faith, Family, and Hard Work, I watched as people represented District 2 and told us what we needed. Like many of you I felt like my voice didn't matter. I felt a calling because if I felt this way how many others felt as if their voice didn't matter. I am running for Congress to be the voice of North Florida. I continue to sit in kitchens and on the porches of hard working North Floridians to listen to what everyone thinks. I do not care about your party, I want to hear from everyone. I want my neighbor's to feel as if they have a voice at the table in D.C. When Politicians talk about Drug addiction, Health Care, Mental Health Care, etc. I want to be the voice of my North Florida Neighbors who have seen these issues up close. I want to be the voice of those working multiple jobs just to be broke, those neighbors in the woods before sunrise leaving at sunset working in the logging woods, Those neighbor's who are working to the bone just to have enough money at the end of the week to buy a soda. I want to be the voice of the farmers working lands passed down to them. Those working not just because they love their family and land but because they take pride in their tradition of hard work. All I ask is give me a chance to listen to you. Please reach out to me, It is time Washington hears the voices of North Florida. But we can not make it alone it will take us all.

2nd Chances & My Testimonial
To the hard-working citizens of Florida’s 2nd congressional District,
My Testimony of Redemption and 2nd chances Over my life I have seen both the good and the bad of humanity. I have seen the highest of high’s and the lowest of lows. Even the most honorable of people make mistakes in life. As a man of God there was only one perfect human, and I certainly am not him. I like most people have made mistakes, but I have always acknowledged both my mistakes and my testimony of how a second chance can change lives. I work hard each day to accept people for who they are now, and the character at which they treat people with every day. I believe in general people are good and deserving of second chances. I for one have benefited and by the grace of God received a second chance in my life. I was given a chance to change and use the time I have here on earth to help others. I have tried to do just that. During a bad time in my life, I made a bad decision. I paid my price to society. I went to prison for Bad Check’s. During the next couple of years, I spent in prison; I found my calling. I saw that there were people in worse positions than me, and that had had fewer opportunities than I had been afforded and wasted. It was then I decided I wanted to make our communities a better place, instead of contributing to its issues. Now some people may hold my mistakes against me, even though I paid my price and devoted my life to help others. I have never hid from my past because it made me who I am today. I understand and accept this. Yet, I believe no one is perfect, no one has the perfect life, and everyone has trials they must overcome to find their purpose. I have spent every minute since, working to earn the trust and confidence of the people around me. I continue this mission every day in our communities. A mistake should not define our lives. There are people in our communities we walk past every day, we sit next to at church, and watch sporting events with, that have made mistakes. But it is what we do after those mistakes that define who we are as people and in our communities. I have full belief in my God that I have been given my second chance to help the people of this world. After much prayer, and counseling I feel I can continue my mission to fight for my community and the people who work hard every day by using my second chance to help the peoples voice rise to Washington D.C. I do not hide behind my mistake; I only hope that others do not define me by my mistake. I look forward to seeing and speaking with all of the great people of district 2. May each of you be blessed Dr. Willie Anderson |
